A companionship app connecting adults with verified, trained listeners over private chat, voice and video, plus a separate companion app for listeners to work flexible shifts and earn.
Overview
The story
Amigify is built around one promise: there's always someone to talk to. Users chat one-to-one with verified companions, and can move to voice or video only when both sides agree.
Trust and safety shaped every feature: identity and age-verified companions, block and report tools, automated message and image screening, and a prepaid coin wallet with no subscriptions or auto-renewals.
The product is really two apps: the user app and the Amigify Companion app, where listeners set their hours and receive per-minute call earnings. Real-time messaging and calling had to feel instant on both.
I contributed to the mobile apps, the web experience and the real-time messaging and calling layer as part of the team building Amigify.
